Eight of Puerto Rico’s most popular chefs aim to take New York City by storm during the 5 day Puerto Rico Meets NYC culinary extravaganza taking place at various locations in NYC from Seep 30 – Oct 4, 2015
Puerto Rico Meets NYC will bring together 8 of Puerto Rico’s top chefs and some of New York’s finest in a multi-day, multi-format event that will showcase the best of Puerto Rico’s culinary flavors.

The event will open with an ‘invite only’ cocktail party, where the 8 visiting chefs from Puerto Rico will present a selection canapes along with a selection of rums courtesy of Rums of Puerto Rico.
Other events over the 5 days will include Chef Pairings (Puerto Rico & New York) Lunches and Dinners at various New York Restaurants. Dinner events will consist of 6 course and lunch events will be 5 courses. Chef Pairings include:

There will also be a special ‘El Nosh Pop-Up’ featuring Eric Greenspan & Roberto Trevino, a 5 course tasting menu featuring Chef Wilo Benet and a 6 course dinner menu featuring Chef Juan Jose Cuevas of 1919 Restaurant
Puerto Rico Meets NYC will close on October 4th with the ‘The Lechon Asado Block Party Brunch’. Here guests can enjoy a celebration of the authentic tastes of Puerto Rico featuring alcapurrias, longaniza sausages, mofongo, rice con gabdukes and of course, lechon (roasted pork)
All events are open to the public (except for the Cocktail Party)
