Culinary Passport @ La Concha Hotel, Puerto RicoCulinary Passport returns to the La Concha Resort in San Juan for a second year. From May 2 to 5 the resort will be the home base for food lovers to enjoy cooking classes, tastings, meals and outings with five internationally renowned chefs.

This year Culinary Passport will include six exclusive activities with guest chefs Mario Pagán, Juan Peña, Executive Chef Erika Gómez from Puerto Rico, Gilles Epié from Miami, Didier Labbé from Brazil and Ludovic Lefebvre from Los Angeles.

The event will kick off on Thursday May 2 with a private reception where guests can meet the chefs and enjoy a special menu created by Chef Gomez along with creative cocktails from la Concha’s Mixed Troupe mixologists. ($55 + tax)

Friday May 3 will be a ‘Day with the Chefs’ that will include several options to tour different parts of Puerto Rico while enjoying the local cuisine.

The day will finish with an evening cookout with each chef showcasing their culinary talents. ($65 + tax)

Saturday May 4 will feature three 2 hour cooking seminars & tastings:($55 + tax each)
Chef Épié: Marinated Scottish Salmon and Spicy Lobster
Chef Lefebvre: Mussels a la Marinière with Charred Country Bread and Beet Tartare Toast with Lime Avocado Milk
Chef Labbé: Fish “Moqueca” and Duck Breast with Sweet Potato

The day will end with the “Culinary Masters’ Dinner Experience”; a six course dinner and wine pairing, with all six chefs taking inspiration from local seasonal ingredients. There will also be book signings with the chefs and photo opportunities ($170 + tax)

The event will close on Sunday May 5 with a Mexican-American fiesta brunch to mark Cinco de Mayo ($50 + tax)
