There is a large display on one of the walls at Kudoughs Donuts & Coffee Bar highlighting their donuts that reads
“Handmade Everyday With Fresh Donuts For You Music Art Vibes Joy”
This completely sums up Kudough’s philosophy.
Established in 2017, Kudough’s is the brainchild of Ben Castro, and Renan Ducos, that combines Artisan Donuts with a Coffee Shop serving local Puerto Rican Coffee and a Bar serving local Puerto Rican beers on tap (along with a large selection of bottled beers).
Step inside and you are greeted by, exposed walls, comfy sofa and a mouthwatering display of donuts that will bring a smile to your face.
The hand crafted, ‘made fresh daily’ donuts will excite your senses, especially your palate, with their creative offerings including: Quesitos, Key Lime Pie, Manchego & Guava, Bacon, Nutella, traditional glazed donuts and a selection of Vegan friendly donuts.
Not sure which one to try, no problem, the staff will take you through the days offerings to help you decide. On our recent visit we tried the Bacon, Strawberry, Nutella and Glazed donuts which were all delicious.
In addition you can grab Kudough’s take on Egg Dough Focaccia, Danish French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Vegan Tofu Scrambled Egg for breakfast and for lunch Turkey Club Sandwiches, Pulled Pork, Tuna Sandwich and they are currently offering a’’one of a kind’ Donut Burger that is a collaboration with Dudes Diner.
Beyond the donuts, food, coffee and beer Kudough’s is community focused with their regular pop up shops for local artisans and regular live music spots typically on weekends. They are extremely active on Social Media and have great Instagram and Facebook accounts that capture the essence of what Ben Castro, and Renan Ducos have achieved with Kudough’s Donuts & Coffee Bar.
