The town of Truijillo Alto will be hosting their 35th Festival del Macabeo in the Parking Area Casa Alcadia (Mayors House). The Macabeo is a traditional fried snack popular in the area. The event will also feature music, food kiosks and family activities

Coquito is the traditional Christmas drink here in Puerto Rico and to mark its significance to the island at this time of year, the Serralles Distillery, the makers of Don Q rum have designated December 1 as ‘National Coquito Day’.
